Juris Doctor (JD) Law Degree: The online JD degree is a 4-year, part-time program. Its traditional curriculum is grounded in core bar courses. Concord students often observe that our distinctive interactive online environment offers greater individual feedback and interaction than their previous brick-and-mortar graduate program experiences. Graduates may apply for admission to the State Bar of California. Start dates are in January, April, and August.
Executive Juris Doctor (EJD) Law Degree: The online EJD degree, pioneered by Concord Law School, is designed for individuals who have an interest in the law or whose careers would benefit from a legal education. It is a 3-year, part-time program that provides a core of required courses, then offers students the freedom to choose a course of study tailored to their needs or interests. Graduates of the EJD program use their degree to advance their careers, expand their employment opportunities, or increase their legal knowledge without having to meet the regulatory requirements associated with becoming members of the bar. Start dates are in January, April, and August.
Study at, or graduation from, Concord does not qualify graduates to take the bar examination or satisfy the requirements for admission to practice law in jurisdictions other than California upon graduation. Completion of a professional law degree program at this law school other than for the Juris Doctor degree does not qualify a student to take the California Bar Examination or to satisfy the requirements for admission to practice law in California. A student seeking admission to practice law in a jurisdiction other than California may need additional experience/education to qualify for that state's bar. Students should contact the admitting authority in that jurisdiction for information regarding the legal education requirement for admission to the practice of law prior to enrollment at Concord.
When people ask about the online degree programs at Concord Law School, a common question is "What can I expect in support services?" The answer: everything. With resources such as our more than 30 faculty members, personal Law Advisors, extensive technical support, and one of America's foremost regulatory exam experts, Associate Dean Steven Bracci, the answers and resources you need are always a click or a call away.

At Concord Law School, your desire to earn a law degree is as close as your briefcase, computer, or tablet. Concord's online platform provides unprecedented access to a best-in-class law degree program from virtually anywhere in the world.
Some Concord Law School graduates practice law in California or other select jurisdictions based on their California bar license and others use their law degree to enhance their careers in a wide range of fields where legal knowledge is an advantage or a requirement, including business, science, health care, and more.
